Dreaming of Roses

This is what I dream of in the midst of the winter months.
This was actually the first garden I designed and planted at our home. It has octagonal patio stones and a wrought iron arbor above. The climbing roses are called seven sisters. Under the arbor I keep a small table and chairs. It is very cozy, a perfect spot for a small gathering.

Table set with purple plaid tablecloth...who doesn't love plaid?

Close up of roses. Wish you could smell them too!

I've  have had this chandelier over ten years. It has been rusting a little more every year.
 I just love it!

I've started collecting tea snackers. For those of you who are wondering what that is, it's a paired plate and cup. Indented, the plate holds the cup in place, leaving just enough room for cakes, sandwiches, or appetizers. They are so nice to use in the garden.

These tea snackers are made by Lefton China Company.

The arbor is the entrance to my small garden from the front of the house.

We'll chat soon--Cathy
